"Hello kayo po ba si engr. Gerick Mortez?" Bungad sa kabilang linya ng sagutin ko ang telepono ko.

"Hello? Opo ako nga." Sagot ko

"Pupwede po ba kayong magpunta dito sa sssss hospital. Naaksidente po ang kaibigan nyo at asawa nya na si mr and mrs Delgado." Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi ng kausap. Napatayo ako sa kinauupuhan ko

"Ano?! Kumusta sila? Ang anak nila?" Nag aalalang tanong ko habang kinukuha ang susi ng sasakyan ko at lumabas sa office ko ...
